Our Blog/News
The phones are now back online. You may resume calling our original number.
After turning 80 earlier this year, my father decided it was time to hang up his stethoscope. After 48 years of practicing Pediatrics in Nashville, Dr. Ralph Greenbaum is officially retiring. From Terrace Pediatric Clinic to Terrace Pediatric Group, he has taken care of thousands of children and is still taking care of many of his original patient's children and grandchildren. He has touched the lives of his patients, their families, nurses and colleagues. Although his retirement is our loss, it is well deserved. We wish him the best and know that the office won't be the same without him. His official last day is June 29, 2016.
We have set up a guestbook in his honor for anyone that may want to leave a message. It can be reached at

Due to the weather and poor road conditions, the office will remain closed today. Our answering service will be handling our phone calls for the remainder of the day. Please stay home and avoid the roads if you do not have to be out. We will plan to be open tomorrow, but please follow our Facebook page or this blog for further updates.
I wanted to make people aware of a new system we are implementing starting today. We will be sending out reminders to all patients who have not had their flu vaccine this year. You may receive a recorded message telling you that your child is due to be vaccinated. No appointment is needed to get a flu vaccine, but it helps if you call prior to coming so you can be sure that it will be in stock. If you receive a call and your child has already received the vaccine, please disregard the message.
One of the best things you can do to stimulate your children's development is to read to them daily. Even starting in early infancy can be beneficial. Not only will it help your child develop the skills needed to enter kindergarten, but it is a great way to spend time with your kids. While on this subject, I'd like to make everyone aware of a wonderful organization that helps make reading to your children easier. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a non-profit organization that will mail a children's book to your house every month from birth up to 5 years. It's completely free and an excellent way to start your own little library at home. To sign up, you can go to the Imagination Library website to sign up.
Remember, read to your child early, and read to them often!
